We are Dave, Sue and our Beautiful Daughter Natasha.

We have been owned Akitas since 1999, when we got our First Puppy 'Kino', we decided to show her at the age of 6 months. We both enjoyed showing, although 'Kino' didn't. But lets just say we were bitten by the show bug.....

Competition was very hot in the early days. 110+ at most shows and 15-20 in the puppy classes. 'Kino' although the best Akita we've have ever had, didn't really set the show scene alight LOL. So we decided to Buy a Show Puppy.......

We went to Anshee Akitas home, to see some older puppies they had kept for themselves to show... They were 4 months old and called 'Troy & Porsche'. We feel in love, and ordered a puppy bitch out of the Repeat mating, a Whole 8 months before.

It was a long, long 8 months but when they finally arrived, there where 2 girls, along with the Clarks we found it very hard to pick, until of course when 'Vanity 1' was a longcoat....

'Vanity 2' arrived home and we couldn't be happier with her. At her 1st champ show she won the Utility Puppy stakes out of an entry of 229, Vanity did us proud in the showring, but did even better in the whelping box even though she only had one litter, producing the Apple of my eye 'Chandler'

'Chandler' won numerous awards at Open show level and many 1st's at Champ shows including RCC in junior, he really was my star.

We went for a coffee to Anshee and came home with 'Lola'. She was 'Chandler's half sister with them both being sired by 'Stone' CR Regalias Boulderdash to Anshee. Lola won 4 Best Puppy in show awards and 2 Best In shows before the age of 11 months.

We mated 'Lola' to 'Colt' Ch CAS Colt Forty Five of Anshee, resulting in a superb litter. From this we decided to keep 'Pierce' & 'Halle'. 5 out of this litter, qualified for Crufts all as pups. 'Pierce' got his Junior Warrant. One of the many highlights of this litter was when 'Pierce' & 'Inky' both won big Junior classes at Crufts. 'Halle' was also 3rd. 'Nuca' went to live in Finland, and became Finnish & Estonian Champion, as well as holding Junior Champion title.

'Pierce', 'Halle', 'Inky', 'Kuma 1' & 'Kuma 2' to date continue to do well at shows..

We mated 'Halle' to 'Sumo' Ch Calicelestic Slaymaker ShCM. Due to problems, Halle had only 4 babies, 'Whitney' stayed at Home. 'Ronda' went to live with 'Nuca' in Finland. 'Ella' & 'Simba' have both done well as puppies, at shows and qualified for Crufts 2010.

Ronda has now become a Finish Champion and was also awarded the Runner Up position in the Top American Akita In Finland Competition of 2010. Well done guys!!

'Whitney' was mated to Ch Bentley and 4 pups were born in April 2010, we decided to Keep Heather in partnership with Alicia Wilson, so Heather went on her travels to live in bonnie scotland, June (later JJ) went to live with June Forman.

'Gabby' also went to see Ch Bentley and she had a litter in Nov 10, these babies hit the ring in late spring, Tina qualified at her 1st Show finishing 2nd at Skc, then 3rd at Bath Champ before going to live with Shelly Bennett.

It was a sad start to 2011 as we lost Kino & Ch Pierce, then later in the Year we lost Vanity. RIP guys.

Marley the Shar Pei boy came to live with us and tiff, he has made a great start to his Show career and making lots of friends along the way.

We repeated the Whitney/Ch Bentley mating and have decided to keep Bobbi to show........
